Oakley Roof Battle 2017 – High Level Riding & High Quality Park
05.05.2017

Dachstein was calling: The finals at April 30 marked both the conclusion of the QParks Tour and a dignified start of the glacier spring sessions the same time. After a contest journey all the way through Austria, Italy and Switzerland, the riders were welcomed with bluebird and a challenging pro kicker line for the final showdown. Accordingly stoked were the riders of the jam-packed setup.

QParks Tour Riders - Next Freestyle Generation

At first sight, the Oakley Roof Battle was a regular contest with its usual friendly atmosphere, also having the weather on its side. From a sporting perspective, it was all about the 9.000€ prize money and the final QParks Tour points for the overall tour results. Since the best riders from all across the Alps had qualified, accordingly high was the riding level and the motivation to gain some additional points. “The level was rad, it was really hard to rip off today”, Snowboarder Felix Widnig said. Could he use his lead on points over the contest? Read more in the results. Freeskier Sebastian Mall was stoked about the Superpark Dachstein: “Super park and nice jumps”, and impressed the judges with his kicker skills. Read more in the following.
